The Dough of Heaven

God is the provision I need for each day.
He provides me with all the merriment of heaven.
In Him, I have no lack and no wants.
His grace is enough for me, as it is sufficient to
survive every day of life.
Whether I have the appetite to eat or not,
I will give thanks to my God.

I count and hope on God to make ends meet.
I shall not wait on any man before eating the fruit of my labor,
nor shall I beg for bread to relieve my hunger.
I will eat the angel’s food and
from the fruit of the spirit, I will feed my soul.
My daily bread comes from God alone,
He sends down manna from heaven every morning.

The Lord has satisfied me with the dough of heaven.
I eat the bread of life, which is the body of Christ,
and I drink the finest wine, which is the blood of Jesus.
My whole body is nourished by the Spirit,
and I am strong and healthy by the word
that comes out from the Father’s mouth.

Jesus lives in me, and I am now alive and new.
My joy is full and it is well with my soul!
The Lord is my giver and my maker,
Therefore, I am delighted and blessed.

You, O God will bless me forever,
and with favor, You surround me like a shield. Amen.
