40 soldiers killed in Chad militant attack

An attack on Sunday evening on a military base in the central African nation of Chad, has left 40 soldiers dead. The attack has been said to be carried out by Islamic militants, who operate in the border regions of Niger and Nigeria. A counter-mission is underway to track those responsible for this massacre.

Let’s Pray:

Father, we ask for Your transcending peace and comfort in the hearts of those who have been affected by this evil. We pray for Your protection upon all the innocent lives in Chad that evil will not be perpetrated on them in the future. We pray that all Chadians would come to the true light of salvation in Jesus Christ, in Your name we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6
