A river runs between two shores,
One built on self, one on the Lord.
On one side, towers rise in sand,
On one side waits a nail-scarred hand.Crowds chase the glitter of the dust,
They build their kingdoms, call it trust.
Yet every tide that licks their stone
Whispers, “These walls are not your home.”Across the stream, a table spread,
With broken bread and living bread.
A quiet Shepherd calls by name,
Yet few will cross the narrow frame. The bridge is shaped like rugged wood,
A cross where Love once bleeding stood.
Those who step on that crimson way
Lose their life, yet find the Day.So stands the river, clear yet deep,
Where hearts must choose which shore to keep.
For Christ still calls with gentle roar,
“Leave your sand, and live My shore.”
