Obedience or sacrifice

When someone is talking to you and you are surrounded by noise, it is difficult, and sometimes even impossible, to listen to them. It is the same with God: you can’t hear Him because of the noise of your daily activities. Take some time now to shut the noise up and listen to His sweet voice.

Let’s Pray:

O God, You have no delight in the sacrifices of bulls or fat rams, nor do You desire burnt offerings. All You require is obedience. Today, Lord, I come to Your court with an offering of joy, and with the sacrifices of thanksgiving and praise. Father, be gracious to me as You are merciful. May You be delighted to accept my offering. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.


“For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.’’
