You don’t need someone to prepare a script for you when talking to a friend or a family member. Words flow naturally because you do not feel the pressure to perform. You are simply yourself. It is the same with God. He is the creator of the universe but also your loving father and caring friend. Pray to Him in all simplicity.

Lord, make the springs of living water flow in my life and shower me with the holy water of prayer. Through Your Holy Spirit, let me speak in tongues; in a heavenly language only You can understand and interpret. In Jesus’ mighty name, I ask. Amen.
