An earthquake with 7.5 magnitude shook western Japan today. The earthquake was followed by a tsunami of 1.2 m at several areas in the western coast. At least 4 people were killed, with damaged roads, buildings, and houses. 33 000 households had power outages, and 1400 passengers were stranded inside the high-speed train for more than 10 h.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we ask for Your mercy over Japan. You see the aftermath of this earthquake; may You console and comfort those who lost their loved ones. May You give strength and shelter to those whose houses are damaged, and grant strength for the officers involved in the restoration of the areas. May You pour out Your mercy and save them, as they realize how frail their lives are. Let them come to You, believe in Jesus Christ and be saved. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
“Whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”
