Expect the outpouring of the Holy Spirit

Beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord, let’s maintain faith and hopeful anticipation for what we pray for, particularly when interceding to see a great revival in our city. As no one knows the exact hour or day this will occur, we ought to always be prepared in our minds and be ready to be partakers when the Holy Spirit falls upon the people of God and stirs up a revival among us. This is a spiritual phenomenon; one that all the followers of Christ must hope to experience before the day of the coming of our Lord Jesus.

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”

Acts 2:1-4 NIV
