If you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. He will reveal Himself to you, and you will know Him. Talk to Him today and listen as He answers ever so gently.
Let’s Pray:
Dear Lord, great and mighty God, I sought You in the wind, but You were not there. I searched for You in the earthquake, yet still found You not. I looked for You through the fire in the wilderness and found nothing. In humility, I turn to seek You in quietness, longing to hear Your still voice. Then comes a gentle whisper, “I am the Lord Your God whom thou seeketh.” Lord, open our eyes and reveal Yourself like the sun in the day, that we may see You. Amen.
“The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.’’
