God of Zion

The Lord will not leave you comfortless
but He will comfort you on every side.
Daughter of Zion whoever tries to harm you
touches the apple of God’s eyes.
God will put an end to the pride of man.
This is what He says to the proud and ruthless:

“Your gold I will turn to the dust and your silver to dirt,
and power will be taken away from the strong nations.
I will make a new covenant of peace
with the nations that fear Me” says the Lord

“I myself, I will rule over the city of the poor,
that none will extort nor oppress them.
I will build a mighty wall around them,
higher than any skyscraper, for their safety.
I will watch over the orphan
and I will be a husband to the widow.
I will raise a shepherd who will guard my flocks.” says the Almighty Lord.

“I will form a new fountain out of the desert
and its waters will spring forth across the land.
Upon the thirsty ground, I will send forth rain.
I will be gracious to those who love me and keep my commandments,
I will make myself known and my name shall be great in all nations”
says the God of Zion.
May the Lord bless you from His heavenly throne forevermore!
