You don’t need someone to prepare a script for you when talking to a friend or a family member. Words flow naturally because you do not feel the pressure to perform. You are simply yourself. It is the same with God. He is the creator of the universe but also your loving father and caring friend. Pray to Him in all simplicity.
Let’s Pray:
Great and mighty God of Zion, You are full of power and able to do all things. Give us might like the sun that we and our children may shine forth for You anywhere we go, and let not the power of darkness prevail against Your people. In Jesus’ name, amen.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
