Hurricane Lee on the Caribbean islands

Hurricane Lee with wind speed of 270 km/h is moving above the Caribbean islands towards the east coast of the US. It carries a risk for life-threatening surf and rip current conditions. The hurricane is predicted to reach the Caribbean islands over the weekend and the US East coast on Sunday.

Let’s Pray:

Lord, we ask for Your mercy upon people in the Caribbean islands and the US east coast who are currently worrying about hurricane Lee that may come over the weekend. We pray that You will calm the storm and protect the people. We pray against worry and anxiety, and for Your peace to reign and fill their wavering hearts with joy and assurance that You are Lord with full control over nature and over their lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

“For He commands and raises the stormy wind, Which lifts up the waves of the sea. Then they cry out to the Lord in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭25‬, ‭28‬-‭31
