As hurricane Oscar with high-wind speeds and heavy rains lashed the eastern coast of Cuba, it left 6 dead in it’s wake, and people in the country without any power, leading to street protests in response to this nationwide blackout. Cuba is reeling in the midst of a huge economic crisis amidst years of governmental economic mismanagement.
Let’s Pray:
Father Lord, we pray for Your mercies and protection for the people of Cuba affected by this hurricane. We ask that You deliver them and be their refuge in these difficult times. We ask for Your wisdom to fill the leaders of this nation; that there may be peace and dignity in the land. We ask that the light of Your salvation would lead people out of darkness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
