Massacre in Sudan leaves 150 dead

A heinous massacre of 150 people including 35 children, in Gezira, Sudan, has left the nation shocked and feeling the ripples of the 13-month civil war. The blame was promptly placed on the paramilitary forces called the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), who are currently battling Sudan’s military government.

Let’s Pray:

Father Lord, You are the defender of the helpless and the weak. We ask for Your divine help and protection for the helpless people of Sudan. We pray for and proclaim peace over the nation of South Sudan, in Jesus’ name. Save Your people, O’Lord. Amen.

“Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.”

Psalm 82:3-4
