Call out to God to remember your nation today for good. Here’s a prayer to help you cry out, intercede, and seek God’s mercy in the midst of chaos and hardship facing your nation. You can also take a day or two to fast and pray with other believers, standing in the gap to plead for God’s grace and mercy. Believe by faith that the Lord will hear and answer your prayer, pouring out the former and latter rain upon your nation with heavenly blessings, and restoring peace and rest.
Let’s Pray:
O righteous Father, hallowed be Your name in all the earth and in heavenly places; You reign from everlasting to everlasting. Lord, we cry out for Your mercy. Be merciful to us, Your children who have been scattered abroad in foreign lands. May the first Son of heaven plead our cause, that the floodgates of heaven may open and let there be outpouring of Your spirit and send forth healing rain to rain on every nation seeking God’s help. Lord, You can turn a barren land into a fruitful one, please, send forth Your help to our nation battling with increase in famine, war, and bloodshed, where evil has caused unrest, and corruption that has divided our land, leading to ruin.
Lord, see our agony and heal our land. Purge us and forgive our sins, take away our sicknesses, and deliver our land from dark forces and locusts that have consumed our grains. For a nation once enriched and blessed with milk and honey is now becoming desolate. Father, restore the glory of your nation and honor to your people, and if for the sake of even one remnant, come and save us. Grant us Your freedom, and heal and bless our land again. Lord, fortify our cities with Your great might and make us and our children be fruitful and to see many good days filled with joy and peace, bringing laughter to the widows according to Your grace and goodness. We ask and pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
“The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger. So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.’
