Where is your wisdom, son of man, and where
have you kept your understanding, that you reason like fools?
Be wise, and do not forsake the sayings of your father.At all costs gain knowledge,
and let not the word of God depart from you.
Let it be as sweet as honey to your mouth and heart.
As you eat your daily meal and satisfy your body,
Meditate also on the word of God, to satisfy your soul.Flee the ways of the wicked but follow the path of the righteous.
Be prudent, and take heed of the instructions from your mother,
for they will preserve and prolong your life.
Let lady wisdom be your best companion,
for in her there is excellent judgment and no deceit
She is the truth and the light of the wise,
Everyone who meets her, treasures her like gold.For the rest of your days, remain loyal and faithful to God,
See to not dishonor His great name.
And like Solomon, He shall surely bless and prosper you.
