Super typhoon Man-Yi makes landfall in Philippines

The sixth typhoon in a month, which is also a super-typhoon, is making landfall today on the eastern coast of the Philippines. A million people have been evacuated from their homes, with the typhoon predicted to cause major damage on its path. More than 160 people have died already this month, from the previous typhoons that have ravaged through.

Let’s Pray:

Father Lord, we pray and ask that You protect all the Filipinos under the shadow of Your wings. The Lord who speaks to the storms, we pray that You would speak and quieten the destructive storm in Jesus name. We ask that all the Filipinos would come to know the love of Christ, through the cross. Amen.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!”

Psalm 91:1-2
