Amidst the storm, have no worries. Praise the Lord as you lay down your head and sleep in peace, for He who promised to be with you until the very end is Lord over the storm! Pray this prayer in faith: God, I believe and stand on Your word, which says that You will not leave nor forsake me. I will wait on You in the storm and keep on praising You, till You come and rescue me, O Lord, my God. Amen.
“They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end. Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.”
