My heart, Lord, overflows with joy,
For the abundance of blessings, You supply.
Your glory shines, as in ancient days,
In countless, never-ending ways.Your Name is great, beyond our ken,
You’ve lifted our spirits, time and again.
Promises kept, like Abraham’s call,
With Isaac, Jacob, standing tall. All who love You, call Your Name,
May heavenly God bless and enflame
Your steps, guided by His wing’s shade,
To life everlasting, paths You’ve made.Your presence, Lord, reveals knowledge to those,
Who delight themselves in Your way and honor You with reverence.
Wisdom, understanding, truly Yours,
Mercy and justice, from Your heart pours. Our days determined, each passing moment,
By Him who governs, in His firmament.
Power, authority, all dominion and might are Yours,
Your Majesty’s choice, dark or light. No partiality, You choose the hour,
To lift one, and give another power.
Lawgiver, You reward all who seek You,
Like grains of sand, by the ocean’s creek.Lives You save, and sickness You heal,
Your boundless love, for us, is real.
Lord of kings, as all eyes are on You,
Remember widows, bless orphans with grace. Amen.

A Hymn of Gratitude
