A knife attack towards toddlers in France

A knife attack injured 4 toddlers under the age of 3 and 2 adults in a playground in Annecy, France. The suspect is a 31-year old refugee who claimed to be a Christian from Syria, who didn’t seem to be under influence of alcohol or other substances nor have any apparent terrorist motive.

Let’s Pray:

Lord, we pray for the children who were under attack, that You will heal them completely in Jesus’ name. May their families also recover from the trauma and be able to forgive the attacker. We also ask for Your mercy for the attacker; may You save him. We ask for Your forgiveness for Christians all around the world who do bad things and taint Your name; may You have mercy on us and forgive us. Help us to shine Your light so that people may see our good works and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

~Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭43‬-‭45
