A prayer for the world’s leaders

You know what? Compared to eternity, our lives on earth here are so short. Yet the Eternal God who created the universe loves you so much and takes care of every tiny detail in your life. He cannot abandon you and leave you on your own. Why do you let Him wait? Come to Him today.

Let’s Pray:

Dear God, we ask You to come take absolute control of the leadership of all nations and organizations in the world. According to Your wisdom and understanding, give the leaders clear vision and direction on how to lead with justice. Lord, put Your love and fear in every leader’s heart and let the truth triumph over all injustice. O God, humble those who are in authority as You continue to give them insight. Instruct them with Your law daily and help them abide in Your truth and lead according to Your commandments. God, please come quickly and take full control of our land. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“‘You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling.’’
