Arise and Pray!

Let’s Pray

Hosanna in the highest! Worthy is Your name, O Lord. I confess that sometimes I fall asleep in the midst of the storm, becoming numb to the spiritual reality around me. I heard the call today: “What do you mean, sleeper? Arise!” I refuse to let my soul sleep through life’s turbulence. I awaken now to call upon Your name, seeking Your presence at dawn, midday, and dusk. Lord, before the waves rise to my neck, do not let me perish. Attend to my prayer and listen to my supplication. I know You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desire that we turn and live. I choose to fall into Your hands rather than the hands of the enemy, for Your mercy is boundless. Reach down into my crisis and deliver my soul from the depths. Redeem my life, O God, and quell the tension within me. Let the world see that You do not forsake the faithful or abandon the righteous to suffering. I yearn to witness Your marvelous works and to praise You in the sanctuary of Your peace. I stand on Your promise of salvation, confident that You are considering my plight even now. In the name of the Prince of Peace, Lord Jesus, Amen.

“So the captain came to him, and said to him, “What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, call on your God; perhaps your God will consider us, so that we may not perish.””

‭‭ Jonah‬ ‭1‬:‭6 ‭NKJV‬‬
