At least 23 soldiers were killed and dozens injured in an attack on a military base in Pakistan on last Tuesday. the suicidal bombing act was claimed to be done by Tahreek-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP) which emerged earlier this year. Six attackers were killed, out of the 27 militants attacking that area overnight. Attacks in Pakistan by militant groups are on the rise, particularly in the bordering regions with Afghanistan.

Let’s Pray:

Father, we pray for Your peace over Pakistan. You see how the enemy wants to create terror and rob peace from Your people in this area. We pray for Your peace to reign in the hearts of the people. We pray for Your grace over the attackers, that they may come to You in repentance, and You will forgive them as You promised. We pray for consolation and comfort for the families who lost their loved ones. We ask for security in this area, for You are full of compassion, O Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.”

~‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭14‬
