Amidst the civil war raging in Sudan since last year, monsoon rains and lack of good hygiene has left the north-east African nation with a cholera outbreak. More than 400 people have been reported to have died from this, just last month. With more than 150,000 people having died since the civil war that started last year, it is being termed “the worst humanitarian crisis”.
Let’s Pray:
Dear Father, extend Your mercy and grace to the nation of Sudan. Amidst the turmoil of war, we ask that You send the peace of Jesus Christ into this land today. Turn the hardened hearts of people to Yourself in these dark times. We intercede for the light of Your love and compassion to shine through into the life of every Sudanese, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.

The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation.”
