DAY 3: Why does God want us to be worthy vessels? Purpose!

To find’s Gods purpose for our lives and walk in obedience to His will

As each vessel has a purpose, we are all unique and precious in God’s eyes. We are a masterpiece of God with a very specific purpose and calling that God has placed in our lives. But this calling is something to be sought after, by us. It is a mystery to us for His name to be glorified in and through His will and purpose.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

-Proverbs 25:2

Why does God make it a mystery to us? Here is my take on it.

Because the purpose and will of God is something to be sought after in our lives. It sets apart the true believers from the others. It sets apart the fiery-hearted ones from the Lukewarm ones. It reveals the intentions of our heart, for whether we seek the Glory and praises of God or on the contrary seek the Glory of this world and the praises of men; it sets apart those who are after the heart of God from those after the riches of the world.

Prayer guide:

Be encouraged to ask God to increase the desire to seek His will more intently and diligently in your life in prayer and fasting.
