“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”
Our God is merciful and gracious. Although we mess up so many times, He always shows His abundant mercy by readily forgiving us whenever we repent from our sins and come back to Him, though we do not deserve it. Although we fall short and have so many weaknesses, He shows us His grace by continuously being generous, providing us with everything we need, as well as abundant gifts and, most importantly, His presence! How can we not thank Him?
“And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.”
Exodus 34:6
Let’s pray:
God, thank You for being merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in goodness and truth. Thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning. It is only by Your grace that I can stand before You today, though I am a sinful creature. Thank You for the blood of Jesus that washes me clean from my sins, so I can come to Your holy throne and worship You for who You are. Thank You for repeatedly showing Your grace to me and strengthening Your calling upon my life. I have no other words but to thank You, Lord Jesus. Amen.
