Do you know who you are?

As a true believer and follower of Christ, your one and only role model is Jesus Christ and He alone should be the image you choose to identify yourself with. A person can only feel secure, complete, and fulfilled in life solely in one person and that is Christ Jesus our Lord. The true vine of the world. Instead of feeling insecure in various areas of life, it is better to fill yourself with the firm assurance that God is with you as there is no fear or insecurity in the Lord our God. When someone has found their identity in Jesus, they feel the most secure and confident about themselves, knowing there is no such thing as insecurity in the heavenly kingdom. Your identity in Christ cannot be stolen, no matter what others say to you or behind your back. Stand firm and believe Christ lives in You and His word matters more than those of others. An insecure person is one who hasn’t fully surrendered their life to Jesus Christ or hasn’t put their trust in Him. The inferiority complex develops from a lack of knowledge and acceptance of who you are as the Creator has made you. Having low self-esteem and feeling ashamed are signs that one has not yet discovered who they are in Christ. Do not let anyone deceive you about who you are or make you question your identity because you are who God has called you to be. Trust and love the Lord your God, always! Pray that the Lord will reveal your true identity in Him, as He is the vine from which you draw your life.

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.’’ -John 15:1 “But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.’’

John 5:40
