Earthquake in Nepal

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit parts of western Nepal about 500 kilometers from Kathmandu, its capital. More than 150 people have been injured in the tremors and many more injured. Many are without homes and with the cold weather, they need protection. The Government is, as of date, yet to make a decision to accept international humanitarian aid.

Let’s Pray:

Lord, we ask for comfort and peace in the hearts of our Nepalese brothers and sisters. Comfort them through Your Holy Spirit and word. We pray for the light of Your salvation to shine through the darkness and into the hearts and lives of the people in Jesus name, Amen.

“And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever. I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.”

John 14:16,18
