Everlasting Father

As wine maketh the heart of a man glad, so is wisdom

giveth knowledge to the fool that they may become wise.

God, You are the one who set the time when the sun rises

and of its going down. The one who maketh the darkness

and the night, and formeth the light and the day.

All living creatures seek their food from You.

You make the cow produce milk and the grass of the fields

for vegetation for man to eat. The dry ground to spring forth

waters and give drink to every beast of the field, and the donkeys

and horses to quench their thirst.

With words and in wisdom You have fashioned all things,

both the things in heaven and on earth You have made them all.

The earth is full of Your glory and possessions.

O Lord, how great and manifold are Your works!

You that may decide to take away a man’s breath,

he dies and returns to the dust, from which you made all man,

both small and great.

Every morning, You renew the face of the earth.

You shine forth in glory, honor, and power.

You open Your hands, they are filled with blessings.

Man rejoices over Your works, Your good deeds with

wonders are excellent. No one can stop You from doing good,

as You are kind and love doing good.

While I have my being, I will sing and dance with praises

to the Lord my God. I will be glad in the house of my God.

O my soul, bless the Lord, and my spirit glorifies the God of the good days.

Praise be to the everlasting Father now and evermore!
