Flood in Libya

A massive flood killed at least 5000 people in northeast Libya. Local rescue teams are still searching for the 10 000 people who are missing. At least 30 000 people have been displaced due to the flood.

Let’s Pray:

God, we ask for Your mercy for Libya. Grant Your comfort and consolation to those who lost their loved ones. Give strength to the search and rescue teams to work without growing weary. Give hope to those who are losing their homes and waiting for Your restoring intervention. Open their hearts to see and cry out to You, the only One who can save and help them. Grant them Your salvation O Lord, and deliver them from this distress, for You are the Mighty One. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

“Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one,
Like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm,
Like a flood of mighty waters overflowing,
Who will bring them down to the earth with His hand.”

Isaiah‬ ‭28‬:‭2‬ ‭
