From the miry clay to the mountaintop!

Do not pray because you feel obligated to do so. No one is grading you or giving you points for talking with God. Pray because it is what you want to do. It should be a desire that comes from a sincere heart, not a tedious duty one is forced to practice. Willingly and wholeheartedly talk to your heavenly Father in prayer today.

Let’s Pray:

Most High God, though I am sometimes overwhelmed by the challenges of life, You, Lord, are mighty to save. Rescue me, Lord. Fill my heart with joy and bless the rest of my days with Your gladness. In Jesus’ name I ask. Amen.

“I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭40‬:‭1‬-‭3‬
