Some people trust in their bows and arrows
and some in their chariots and horses,
but the children of the Most High put their trust
in the Lord, God of heaven,
who is the Creator of all things.Though you may have a sword in your hand,
Do not fight with it. Instead,
Leave every battle to the Lord.
He will not bring you to shame
But rather grant you justice and victory,
For there is no power in heaven nor on earth
that can be equal or greater than the power of God.A day shall come when the people of the Lord
shall be gathered in a holy place and
bless the name of God with a loud praise!
Everyone will see the glorious splendor of the Most High
falling down from heaven to earth.
And the Lord shall redeem lives and transform nations
Such that our only desire shall be
to worship and honor the God of heaven forever.
