Ancient King of Israel

Almighty Lord, nobody anointed nor appointed You as the God of all;
But You created all things with Your power and for Your pleasure,
for You are the only God, omnipotent and all-sufficient.

My hope is in You, Lord,
the Mighty One who is worthy of my praise.
You reign forevermore, from everlasting to everlasting.
I praise You, Lord, ancient King of days, ruler of the universe.

In times of pleasure and rejoicing,
I will sing of Your praise and worship You
And in tough times, I will not cease to magnify You.
Even with a broken heart, I will adore Your glorious splendor.

I have been covered by Your favor and goodness throughout my life,
Therefore, I know: there is nothing the Lord cannot do. Amen!
