Psalm of Sacred Identity
I
Compared to the cross, gold is worthless.
In Him, I find my identity and my salvation;
Like a planted garden, my life is deeply rooted in Him.
I abide securely in the Holy One of Israel,
For greater is He who dwells within me than he that is in the world.II
My old self is crucified, buried with Him in grace;
My new life is resurrected, radiant in the glory of Yah.
In Him, all things have become entirely new;
In every step I take, I acknowledge His saving strength.III
I walk in the fullness of His grace,
Reflecting His divine peace, unfailing love, and truth.
His Spirit dwells in the quiet depths of my soul;
Therefore, I know who I am, for I belong to the great I AM,
By my name, He knows me.
Amen.
The Heart of the Psalm: “You do not find yourself by looking within; you find yourself by looking to the I AM.”
This psalm serves as a powerful declaration of spiritual posture and identity. It shifts our gaze away from self-reliance or worldly labels and roots us directly into the finished work of Christ. When your old self is left at the cross, you don’t just get a fresh start—you receive a resurrected life.
Stand firm in who God has declared you to be. Because the great I AM lives inside you, your roots run deep, your character mirrors His righteousness, and your identity is forever secure in Him.
