Iran’s president dies in tragic helicopter crash

The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, along with the foreign minister and 6 others lost their lives in a tragic helicopter crash. Heavy fog contributed to poor visibility which is the reason for the crash. The helicopter, part of a convoy of 3, was traveling through the mountains in the north of Iran towards the city of Tabriz when it lost contact and the remains were found later.

Let’s Pray:

Yahweh God, we pray for the comfort and peace of Your Spirit to all those grieving their loss. We pray and ask for stability in the government during the transition and appointment of the new President. Let Your light and glory arise in this nation, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

‭‭John 9:5
