Israel at war

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war against Palestine on Saturday after an airstrike attack by Palestine militants. The ongoing war between Israel and Palestine has resulted in at least 70 Israelis being killed, over 900 wounded, and dozens of hostages held in Israel and Gaza.

Let’s Pray:

O God of Zion, Your name is to be honored on all the earth as the highest King; we praise and magnify You for You are great and awesome in power. Lord, we have no one else to turn to, other than You. We cry Abba, plead our cause, and forgive our land. Israel should be a place of refuge, a land of peace for all people but now Your enemies are waging war against Your people. Though we have not wholly obeyed Your commandments, Your name O Lord has never departed from our mouths, for You are still our God. Lord, from Your holy temple, cause both nations to repent from war and forgive one another. Let the leaders of both countries have compassion and wisdom to resolve the conflict in peace. The future of our children and their children is in Your hands, Lord; do not let this crisis scatter the dreams and plans You have for them. Remember Your promise of old, Lord of hosts, as we seek Your face and lay in sackcloth. Have mercy and take control of the situation and do not allow the devil, whose work is only to destroy, to take advantage. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

“And the children of Israel said to the Lord, “We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems best to You; only deliver us this day, we pray.””

Judges‬ ‭10‬:‭15
