Israel warns 2 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate ahead of strikes

Current events in the Israel-Lebanon conflict have worsened with airstrikes in southern Lebanon carried out by Israel. On Wednesday, an Israeli attack on a car in Tiri left one person dead, while 11 people were injured, including those in a passing school bus. Previously, there was an Israeli drone attack on the Ein el-Hilweh refugee camp in Palestine, killing 13 and injuring several, described as the deadliest attack in nearly one year after a ceasefire. Israeli forces said they attacked a Hamas training site, which Hamas disputed.
Paramedics were on scene, despite burned cars, while Lebanese officials limited press presence in the refugee camp. At the same time, American pressure on Lebanon to disarm its ally Hezbollah has mounted, having canceled the visit to Washington for Lebanon’s army commander.
Over 4,000 deaths have occurred in Lebanon, in addition to property valued at $11 billion, due to the war that erupted on October 8, 2023, between Israel and Hezbollah. International diplomatic efforts are being employed, while tensions are high due to continued attacks on Hezbollah by Israel.

Let’s Pray:

Dear God, we ask that you bring an end to the conflict between Israel and Lebanon. Protect the Lebanese people from the suffering that comes from the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. We pray for peace and stability in Lebanon, and rebuke any forces that provoke or even escalate the conflict, in Jesus’ name, let Your Spirit be upon Lebanon, Amen.

“He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah” ‭‭
