This prayer is an invitation for Divine Transparency. You are asking God to remove the “fog” of sin and the “shadows” of hate so that His light can pass through you without obstruction. It is a prayer of surrender that ends in the exaltation of God—reminding us that our purity is ultimately for His glory, so that the “whole earth may know” that the Lord is God.
Let’s Pray
Dear Lord, my Savior and Redeemer, I joyfully proclaim Your name from the depths of my heart and confidently confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, revealing that the Lord is one. Forgive my trespasses and remove my iniquities. Wash me, Lord, until I am as pure as snow. Let the old be gone and the new begin, that my life may shine brightly with Your glory. Lord, Your Word is truth. Illuminate my perspective so I may see the world through Your mirror. Give me the wisdom to discern truth from falsehood and the grace to choose love over hate. Be exalted in my life so that through me, the world may know You are God. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
