Lord, help me honor my parents

No matter the depth of the pit you find yourself in at this moment, there is still hope for you. With God, every situation can be turned completely upside down, no matter how bad it looks. So long as you are still breathing, you can choose to give your life to Jesus, and He will sort things out for you. Turn to Him today.

Let’s Pray:

Father God, from Your dwelling place, be merciful, and do not forsake me. Be gracious unto me, Lord, and help me to forgive my father and my mother wholeheartedly, as You have forgiven them. Please teach me how to obey, love, and honor my parents as You commanded, so that the rest of my days may be long. Always will I give thanks and praise to You for giving me a forgiving heart, O God of heaven. Amen.

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.”

Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭12‬
