What began as a student protest almost 2 weeks back in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has now spiraled into a nationwide, anti-government protest that resulted in the deaths of nearly 300 people, including children. Some respite is seen on the horizon, as the country’s autocratic leader of 15 years, Sheikh Hasina has fled the country.

Father Lord, we ask for Your peace and light to shine through the darkness prevailing in Bangladesh right now. We ask that You comfort the broken hearted and prevent the loss of any innocent lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
