Nearly 80 dead from an unknown disease spreading in DR Congo

An unknown disease with flu-like symptoms is spreading in DR Congo, with 79 so far reported dead from the disease and 300 more are infected. Officials have now instructed the people to remain calm and practice self-hygiene to contain this epidemic. DR Congo is already reeling from an severe monkey-pox outbreak this year.

Let’s Pray:

Father Lord, the Healer of all diseases and sickness, we ask for Your love and mercy to shine through upon the people of Congo. We ask that You would heal the affected and comfort the grieving in heart by Your wondrous grace and healing hands. We ask that every Congolese life be saved through the finished work on Calvary. In Jesus name, Amen.

And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God,
and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments,
and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which
I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.”

Exodus 15:26
