A “special warning” has been issued in the southern island of Kyushu in Japan, as typhoon Shanshan caused a landfall. With recorded wind speeds of over 250 km/h and 600mm of predicted rainfall, authorities have begun large-scale evacuations in the region. 3 people have already been reported dead and 3 more still missing.
Let’s Pray:
Father Lord, we pray and ask for Your protection over the nation of Japan in this hour. Save them from every adverse danger that comes their way, as you calmed the storms and seas with Your word before. May the people of Japan see the light of Your salvation shine through the storms of darkness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?””
