Tensions escalate between Lebanon and Israel

Following a missile bombardment of southern Lebanon in the early hours of Monday, more than 492 people were declared dead. The missile attack came in response to the Islamic militant group (Hezbollah) aggravations in support of Hamas. Israel targeted 1 600 sites, it said, which killed a “large number” of Hezbollah militants.

Let’s Pray:

Father Lord, we continue in prayer for peace between Israel and all its neighbors. We ask for the protection and comfort for the innocent people of Lebanon, who are affected by this war around them. We seek that the light of Your salvation would shine into the broken and fearful hearts of the people, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?”

Proverbs 24:11-12
