The friction between Pakistan and Afghanistan continues to rise after Pakistan conducted air-strikes across its border with Afghanistan. This was in response to last Saturday’s killing of seven soldiers by a terrorist group, which the Pakistan government claims to be proxies of the Taliban-led state. Eight civilians were killed in this strike, as the missiles hit civilian homes on Monday.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we pray for your peace to reign on the borders of these countries. We ask for wisdom in the hearts of the leaders of both nations, and we pray for love to reign in the heart of every terrorist. Protect these countries from further bloodshed and let Your light shine into the darkness. In Jesus name, amen.
“The Lord will rescue his servants;no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.”
~Psalm 34:22
