Jonah 3:3 is the picture of a transformed will. The same man who once boarded a ship for Tarshish is now walking the dusty roads to his enemies’ capital. It reminds us that our “Yes” to God can change the atmosphere of an entire city. This prayer is your Activation. You are no longer just a listener of the Word; you are becoming a doer “according to the Word.” The text says, “So Jonah arose and went.” There is no mention of hesitation this time. When God gives you a second chance, honor it with immediate action. Don’t overthink the mission; just start walking. Jonah didn’t just go to Nineveh; he went “according to the word of the Lord.” Obedience isn’t just doing a good thing; it’s doing the specific thing God asked. Ask yourself: “Am I moving because of a trend, or because of His Word?”

Let’s Pray

O Father, because of Your unwavering love, You sent Your only Son not to condemn the world, but to save it (John 3:17). I hear Your voice today asking, “Whom shall I send?” and with a joyful heart, I respond: “Here am I! Send me” (Isaiah 6:8). I desire to go wherever Your Holy Spirit leads, walking in the authority of Jesus Christ who commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). Lord, deepen my awareness of Your voice. Though I may feel unworthy or speak imperfectly, I ask You to sanctify me for Your purpose. As You touched the lips of the prophets, touch mine today. Purify my tongue and put Your words in my mouth (Jeremiah 1:9). Fill my heart with Your fire, so that when I speak, it is Your truth and Your light that flows forth to those in darkness. I receive the power of the Holy Spirit to be Your witness—starting in my own city and reaching to the ends of the earth. Anoint me to proclaim Good News to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, and to declare liberty to the captives (Luke 4:18-19). Grant me the grace to prepare the way for Your coming, making straight paths in the wilderness of this world so that all flesh may see Your glory together (Isaiah 40:3-5). I am ready, Lord. Help me to be filled with zeal and love as I do Your will. Make me a carrier of Your message and a messenger of Your grace, that the knowledge of Your truth may again cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
