The Knowledge of God is Inevitable

Habakkuk 2:14 is the “Global Pivot” of the book. In the midst of woes and judgments, God gives a glimpse of the end goal: Universal Recognition. It is the guarantee that darkness is temporary, but the knowledge of God is inevitable. This prayer is a Strategic Intercession. By focusing on leaders and “the beginning of wisdom” (the fear of the Lord), you are praying for the “head” of the nations so that the “body” might follow. You are asking for a spiritual “overshadowing” that changes the course of history.

Let’s Pray

Heavenly Father, all-knowing and ever-present God, You formed the earth with divine wisdom. I stand on Your promise that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea. Let the truth of Your Kingdom flood every nation, demolishing every obstacle—evil, darkness, and principalities—that stands against the knowledge of God. Almighty Father, Your wisdom surpasses all human understanding. We ask You to confound the “wise” of this world with Your truth. Reverse any knowledge that exalts itself against You and rebuke the spirit of stupor from among us. Let Your light expose every secret agenda and destroy the influence of evil in our generation. Lord, You hold the hearts of global leaders in Your hand like rivers of water. Turn their hearts toward You. Distinguish true leaders from the false, and fill those You have chosen with an excellent spirit and tender hearts. Grant them the wisdom to acknowledge Your will and the reverence to lead with righteousness. Raise up trustworthy leaders who shun evil and seek Your face. Enclose Your Word in their hearts and protect them from corruption. Let Your redemptive plan be unveiled to those in power, just as it was to Joseph and David. Establish Your throne among us, Lord, until every leader and every nation sees that You are One and Jesus is Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

“For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.”
