The Treasure in the Wound

In fields of hurt where thorns have grown,
A Man walks in, yet not alone.
He bears a cross, a crown of scars,
And sows His peace where broken hearts are.

He kneels beside the buried ache,
The secret shame, the hidden shake.
With pierced hands, He digs the ground,
Until a hidden pearl is found.

“What worth,” He asks, “would you assign
To wounds where love and loss entwine?”
For in the place you fear the most,
I’ve set My Spirit as your Host.

The wound becomes a secret door,
Where grace pours in and floods the floor.
Those who bring their pain to Me
Will trade their chains for liberty.

So let your sorrows speak My name,
Your cross and Mine are not the same.
Yet in your scars, My light breaks through,
For there I hide My treasure in you.
