After an enormous landslide struck the Enga region in the north of Papua New Guinea, more than 2000 people are feared to be caught under the landslides. About 3800 people were living in the region before the landslide struck on Friday, with many residents comparing it with the sound of a bomb. Rescue efforts are underway, with persisting risks of further landslides in the region.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we ask in Your merciful name, that You would save the dear people of Papua New Guinea who are stuck under the debris. We call out to You for divine help to be sent Lord, through Your guardian angels. Watch over them and protect them, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
“Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
Psalm 91:3-4
