Violent protest in India

A protest regarding a statue of the Meitei ethnic group turned into violent attacks in several districts of Manipur, India. At least 30 people have been killed during such clashes. About 10,000 people have been evacuated by the Indian army deployed to maintain order in the affected districts. Several curfews and suspension of internet access are currently applied.

Let’s Pray:

Father, we ask for Your mercy over the nation of India. You see the unrest that is happening in these areas, and we want to ask for Your peace to reign over them. You see the families who lost their loved ones, and those who are evacuated from their homes. We pray for Your comfort and consolation by the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Take control over the whole situation, Abba Father, we rely on You. In Jesus’ name. Amen

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

~Psalm 91:1-2
