Wildfires in Canada

About 30 000 households were told to evacuate due to the wildfires in the country, especially in the province of British Columbia. Another 36 000 homes are under evacuation alert. Canada is having its worst wildfire season on record, with at least 1 000 fires burning across the country. Although no deaths have been reported in the latest fires, at least four firefighters have lost their lives during this record-breaking season.

Let’s Pray:

Father, we bring the country of Canada into Your able hands. You see the wildfires that are spreading in the country and threaten people’s lives. We plead for Your mercy on this country; that You will pour out Your rain and quench the wildfires. We pray for Your mercy upon these people, that You will see their sufferings and deliver them. We pray for comfort and strength for the firefighters, especially for the families who lost their loved ones. Thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ name we ask, amen.

Whatever the Lord pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places. He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.”

Psalms‬ ‭135‬:‭6‬-‭7
