Words seasoned with salt

Those who have compassion shall speak with the love of God and always address others with mercy and grace. Be careful that your words do not make others fall into temptation. Instead, speak wisely, and let your words always be edifying for the hearer and bring encouragement to all who listen to it.

“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”

Colossians 4:5-6
